We’ve got it pretty good here. The weather has been pretty good from October through January this year. This week was the first really cold week, or at least when the cold lasted more than a day or so.
It has been cold, really cold, for Austin this week. It started on Tuesday. Monday we rode outside in shorts and short sleeve jerseys. Tuesday it got cold. It settled down around 20-25F Tuesday shortly after Noon and stayed there until mid-morning today (Friday). Last night it snowed…a little bit. This morning we woke up to find snow. Naturally, like everyone else in Central Texas, we had to take some pictures and took the opportunity to shoot another ‘What are you doing’ TeamTBB video. You can only shoot them so often or they just become ‘ho-hum’. And, no real need to shoot any training videos…training is training and everyone does it!! They are both pretty self explanatory.
I thought I’d upload a couple of pictures as well. Yesterday was a movie day on the trainer. Not too long…we say we watched 2 movies, but really we watched 1 plus a little bit of the 2nd. Amy’s getting prepped for AbuDhabi…so maybe she should sit through 2 or 3 of them!!
Amy watches herself go in circles, I wanted the Movie
Yes, I took a quick pit stop and shot a couple of pics.

And, for your viewing pleasure…a shot of the “blizzard” that hit Austin.

DO NOT go outside unless you HAVE To!!
There you go…snow day in Central Texas. It doesn’t happen too often, and when it does, the city grinds to a halt. Stay tuned as we’re headed to the Rev3 race in Costa Rica and then will likely be off to training camp in Thailand again.
