I m presently in New mexico, USA in early preparation for the coming season. I m in the process of booking my flight for a vacation in philippines! I will take part in a very fun event call TBB summer camp! I m very happy and anxious to join a new team, new coach, new training partners and new location for training! So many new element a lots of unknow.
So what do i know about that team tbb?
Well, this is Doc. He is the high performance master mind of team TBB. Kind of a old teacher and it should be really fun to learn from him. I have never meet him but from the picture, i can say he look a bit grumpy but i heard he smile from time to time!!! My biggest challenge with Doc will be communication. We dont speak the same language…. i speak frenglish and he speak australian so he might have to repeat a few times until i get it….
This is me and my good friend Zach Ruble. We are both rookies with TBB and very excited to join this super team! Me and Zach have live and train together many times and we will be roomates at the camp in Subic Bay, philippines. Zach is someone with a very special personality. (He is the one the right in the picture!!!) He is a lot of fun to have around and i can already tell everyone will like him in the team! Dont get fool by is apperance, he is very smart!!! and hard worker!
I dont know many athletes in my new team but i sure know this one! It’s Mathieu O’Halloran! He as been part of the team for the past 3 years. Me and Mathieu come from the same town back in quebec. I even coached him in triathlon when he was 12-13?? and we both moved to victoria to be part of the national triathlon training center. I teached him in high school and he delivery pizza at my place many times…yep, lots of connection between me and him. As you can see in this pic, Maty isnt afraid of hard work, always showing a big smile and lots of energy! Should be awesome to be reunited under the same team!
Finaly, here s a group picture of Team TBB! Those are all the other teamates that i will meet soon! Other than Mat, Zach and Doc hanging at the front of the pic, you can see the group of ironchicks that seems to be talking about there last book read (Alice in Wonderland or something like this…) and the fast iron boys looking anxious to ducking it out on the race track!
