Back home in NZ I never used to eat chocolate and even got headaches from the stuff when I was younger. But since ive been in Leysin this Prix Garantie chocolate has been going down a treat. At only 0.45 Francs, you get 100grams of sugar, fat, and protein in a easy to eat source. This plus a can of coke and you have an instant sugar rush which gets you up the hill no matter what state you are in before it
On a side note, the legs have been a little stiff today, as I have been putting in some run miles. But the coach always seems to know, and we all had a easy day today with just a complusory splash this morning.

This past weekend I competed in Challenge Kraichgau.
The orgainsers put us up in a real nice hotel and looked after us real well. Race day came and went real fast. I had a tough day at the office and really struggled on the bike. Lucky for me James, Becks and Lis where all smashing it so that put abit of a smile on my face
I have got IM Switzerland in 4 weeks time so I am looking forward to another IM and testing out my body over a longer race.
Today I have swam this morning and the Boss has given me the rest of the day off. So time to catch up on some TV and internet

I have been running in the Avia 2231 shoes since the beginning of the year and can sum them up as:

I have had numerous injury problems in previous shoes but the Avia’s have been working well and I have had no running injuries so far this season
