Coffee – ITS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!

Hey! Many of you know I AM A COFFEE ADDICT!

Well a lot of people are.
I figure if coffee would have never been discovered.
Society would be ATLEAST 10 years back wards.

What few people know is how good the coffee is in the Philippines!
In fact, its one of few countries that grows all 4 beans!

-Arabica
-Liberia aka Barako
-Excelsa
-Robusta

Believe it or not.
The Philippines was 4th largest producer in the 1800′s!
But now it has greatly fallen behind…
Due to various circumstance…
Coffee is 1 more area which this country cannot fulfill its potential…

As you see – its in the “coffee regions” of the world

I strongly suggest to avoid 3 in 1 coffee instant coffee.
No matter how cool Arnel Pineda is.

Considering he's 45 - looks like hes using his money from advertising lazy coffee for some plastic surgery. His big advertisement in the off ramp in NAIA 1 is actually a bit frightening when you see if at night! Hes like an Asian Micheal Jackson!

In my “coffee connaisseurs” opinion.
Pilippino coffee should be sold in Starbucks around the globe!

I was lucky enuff to go do a coffee roasting in Kenya.
Its was a day long experience and at times boring…
But to see how they pick/roast/press the various beans.
It was genuinely memorizing!
And of course like a lot of things in life, when you taste it FRESH!
It just tastes BETTER!
With a very smooth after taste unlike certain packaged coffee.

Anyway, bellow is how I make my own Ice Coffee!
Because well its HOT right now and well I still need coffee!

Ingredients:

-Coffee
-Ice
-Alaska Milk
-Alaska Créma
-Cocoa powder
-Maple Flavored Syrup (sorry mommy…)

An important piece of gear is my beloved Magic Bullet!

Put all the ingredients inside before putting the mild temperature coffee!

LOADED!

AND BLEND!

READY TO DRINK!

Its easy and quick as that!
I call it the ALASKA MOCHA MAPLE ICE COFFEE™.
One tip, NOT too much cocoa powder as it can make it bitter.

I personally boil up a large pot of coffee each morning.
My first cup is a warm traditional cup.
But then after that its when I go for the ice coffee.
As the mercury rises!

Enjoy your coffee – I am every day several times per day ;)
