Here is his words from his fund raising page :
In September I’m doing a challenge from London to Paris called the Enduroman Arch to Arc, this involves:

87 mile run from Marble Arch in London to Dover

Swim the Channel

181 mile bike ride from Calais to Arc de Triomphe in Paris

This has only been completed by 10 people (7 men & 3 women)

I will be the first to complete the swim section (the channel) without wearing a wetsuit

Please sponsor me as not only this will give me huge motivation while doing the challenge Sports Aid is a great charity and it will be wonderful to raise as much as we can.

Have a look at my website for more info www.teambayliss.co.uk

Challenge Vichy

Friday, August 24th, 2012

I travelled across by car to Vichy with Brett Carter(twitter boy/bulldog:)) Carrie and Scott went in another car.

When we arrived it was hot but not like last year! However each day it got hotter and the forcast for race day was for over 40C. So very hot! The organisers decided to reduce the distance to a half.

I was happy enough with this, I felt I could do a good job in a half distance and the recovery time after is less so I felt it was all good for me:)

Bulldog lead the swim, I sat behind very happily, we exited the swim with a good gap and just a relay competitor for company.

Onto the bike and Bulldog was a little slow, faffing around with his speed suit!

So off I went with the relay guy. Eventually bulldog caught up with 2 others and it became a group of 5 till the end of the bike.

I ran off hard and opened up a good gap on the group I was with and onto the 2nd lap I could see I had a comfortable lead. But you never know who is coming so I pushed on at a solid pace.

I was extremely pleased to cross the finish line in first place and to take home the 8000euro prize:) It was great to get a 1, 2, 3, and 4 for team TBB in the mens, with Per, Scott and Bulldog all coming in just behind myself:) And well done to Carrie for a very solid 2nd place too. A good day all round for Team TBB!

After the awards we drove back to Leysin and are all back to training now and getting ready for the next one:)

Olympic Champion Nicola Spirig

Charlie was very excited to watch Nicola win the race yesterday. This morning he celbrated with some porridge and reading the paper with Nicola on the front page!

I think the only blog and the only photo for this blog is this one! What a day for Nicola yesterday! Also such a fantastic day for all of us here at teamTBB. We have all witnessed how hard Nicola has worked for this, year after year and month after month.

We could all see what fantastic form she was in and were extremely excited to watch her race, and what a race. Well done, you!

Charlie, Bella and I were so happy when you crossed that finish line in 1st place to become Olympic champion. I know all the team feel the same. We all did some great sessions this weekend, nothing like a bit of super inspiration.
